Just a quick "hi" to you all.
Every week or so I check in here and read the messages. It seems, though, that I'm always a bit late to make any kind of pertinent comments -- maybe I wouldn't have any even if I were a few days sooner!
It sounds as though some of you have been having health/health services problems, and I'm sorry. I do know how that is, though our bureaucracies here are a somewhat different than yours.
It's been pretty quiet around here.
Mostly just watching my garden grow.In a week or so, I'm going up to my daughter's in Portland, OR -- about 600 miles north of here. I'll be there for a couple of weeks, helping her keep an eye on her daughter while she's looking for work. Her hubby is going to be going to Australia for that time, visiting lots of relatives with his mom. He has several in NZ and some in England, as well.
In Sept., my hubby and I are going to Hawaii!!! Yes, I'm quite excited. I've never been there, but he spent part of his childhood there -- went to school barefoot, even.
