Thanks to Tal, I have found my way here again - I was searching on variations of "projectboards" but have now made sure I'll keep my place!
I hope all are well.
Now that the incredible heat seems to be clearing, I really want to occupy my fingers, which are aching to produce things again. Does anyone know about what I think is called "hairpin" lace? I have seen a pictuer, which looks to me like an old-fashioned hairpin with a sort of embroidery floss wound around it, to make a flower.
Tal, you have posted links to some projects, and I have attempted to follow one, but find it too teeny for my fingers. Is there a way of doing something similar, but using "bigger" tools?
Thank you x
sarah

There is! Dowel rods in a holder and DK or Aran yarn makes a thick but lacy loopy fabric. Or ribbon! You just need to find a larger size "hairpin lace loom".
