Has anyone else done a beekeeper's quilt? I have just sat down to do something, and decided that my fingers and brain require dpns. My brains aren't up to socks, so I'me settling down to some hexipuffs to add to the basket. I can do these on autopilot, and catch up on some tv on iplayer. My "rant" below explains why I've been mad as a barrel of monkeys over the last week and why I hope I can now pootle along again.

I am hopeless with links, but if you take a look at "Bee-Keeper's Quilt" on Ravelry, you can see what a hexipuff is. I bought the pattern, it is very reasonable, and gave me full instructions for my very first try with dpns. I am warning you, they can be adddictive! At the same time, they are virtually pocket portable, and each time you have finished a "puff" it's like a project in itself. I even whipped one out on a station platform while waiting for a late train.
