It's 1.40am I've had 2 very very late nights this week so tonight decided 11.30pm was the latest I was going to stay awake for, well you know how it goes, best laid plans and all that. I have a stinking summer cold coming on and still can barely speak after the awesome Robbie concert on Tuesday night we eventually got home about 2.30am ish I think so I am feeling pretty rotten.
Anyway after being up until after 3am last night with my youngest coming home from her school trip to France we are all feeling rather tired. The phone rang at 11pm and I thought oh heck who's that, my dad isn't keeping very well and frequently gets taken into hospital to be put on a nebuliser and I often get a late night call from my mum asking if I can pick them up to take them home so of course I went into panic mode.
WRONG NUMBER!!! Some stupid drunk woman wanting to book a taxi, told her to try and ring the right number, thought nothing more of it and went to bed, fell asleep pretty much right away only to be woken up by the phone AGAIN at just after midnight, SAME woman same thing. Well you are not going to believe this lol the phone has just woken me up again ITS THE SAME BLOODY WOMAN well she got short shrift from me this time, I actually yelled down the phone at her as she not only woke me up, but my 2 girls too, my eldest has to be up for work at 6am and my youngest is still shattered after the long bus journey home and isn't really feeling very well either.
I really wish I could unplug the phone but I daren't do that because of my dad's health but I think I may have to seriously consider changing my phone number as my number is 1 digit different to a VERY busy taxi company and after over a year of calls from drunk people looking for taxis I am getting seriously annoyed with it now its just so much hassle as I have problems with my short term memory due to a health condition I have and the number I have is very easy to remember, it would take me forever and a day to remember a new number
gggrrrrrr
i feel better now after that LOL
